WOOD-LAM FINISH SERIES AND HPL COMPATIBILITY CHART The Wood-Lam series has been developed to reduce materials costs with the use of High Pressure Laminates (HPL). These HPLs are intended to be compatible, not necessarily a match to pre-finished wood. Given the characteristics and variations inherent with real wood products, it is impossible to replicate. Natural wood enhancement may affect compatibility. In various lighting environments, the appearance of single-dimensional HPL and a three dimensional wood may vary; it is therefore suggested the use in combination of HPL and pre-finished veneer may achieve the best results.
